It is also home to the famous temple of Sri Chamundeshwari. The city of Mysore also houses one of the most well-maintained gardens of South India, called the Brindavan Gardens. They are illuminated at night and offer a musical fountain show.
The ideal season to visit Mysore is from October to February. One of the biggest festivals celebrated here is Dasara in October.
