The All Saints Cathedral, an old Anglican Church constructed in 1847, is one of the best colonial-era buildings in the Northeastern region.
Shillong is also the point of entry for some of the most incredible natural spots in Meghalaya. The root bridges of Cherrapunji, the clean waters of Dawki, and the caves of Mawsmai can be found here. The beautiful three-tier Elephant Falls is located about 12 km away from the city.
March-June and September-November are the best times to visit Shillong. Shillong is cool, cultured, musical, and beautiful.
